# OurGrove

> OurGrove is building an operating system and Grove appliance for self-hosted web apps, websites and local AI, including Nextcloud, WordPress and Ollama. Public sites and private team tools run on hardware people control. An app-store-like catalogue makes the software approachable; the OS handles deployment, updates and recovery on hardware people control. The primary goal is approachable software independence, supported by improving software and repairable, upgradeable hardware. It is in development, with beta software and a hardware prototype. It is not generally available. The OS builds on Fedora bootc and will be open source. The first appliance, Grove Oak, is €2,500 including VAT.
